HYPERSTAGE 2024
Global Congress on Digital Innovation in the Performing Arts

Introduction

The transformative power of Information Technology in the realm of Cultural Heritage continuously unlocks new opportunities, particularly in the performing arts domain.

The Hyperstage project stands at the forefront of this innovation, focusing on the interoperability of performing arts archives. By leveraging multiple decentralized databases, Hyperstage facilitates the seamless integration of these resources, promoting the concept of Open Science. This development promises new synergies and unexplored potential within the digital landscape of the performing arts.

In line with this dynamic context, Hyperstage is excited to announce the upcoming Global Congress on Digital Innovation in the Performing Arts. This conference is organized by Hyperstage in collaboration with prestigious institutions, underlining our commitment to advancing digital integration in the arts. Supported by the Ministry of University and Research’s programme PRIN 2022 – Research Projects of National Relevance – and funded by the European Union-Next Generation EU Hyperstage is dedicated to creating a comprehensive open knowledge base. This platform not only enriches the digital cultural scene but also fosters a network of professionals ranging from researchers and archivists to industry stakeholders and museum curators. The conference will serve as a vital forum for sharing experiences, discussing best practices, and exploring the potential of Linked Open Data in the performing arts.

Keynote speakers will include influential figures in performing arts and information technology, providing valuable insights into the future of digital cultural heritage.
